Job Summary-We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in Accounting practices with Zoho Books. The ideal candidate will be proficient in zoho books and have a strong understanding of accounting principles with compliance. Experience with Zoho books is highly preferred and will be considered an added advantage.to take ownership of our financial reporting and accounting processes. This position demands strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a solid understanding of end-to-end accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:1. Month-End & Year-End Closing:Lead and execute timely month-end and year-end closing activities.Post journal entries for accruals, adjustments, provisions, and depreciation.Ensure accuracy in trial balance and readiness of books for financial reporting.
2. End-to-End Indian Accounting:Accounts Payable & ReceivableRevenue and Expense RecognitionBank and Intercompany ReconciliationsEnsure accurate classification of transactions and integrity of the general ledger.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:GST filing and reconciliationTDS calculation, deduction, and returnsPrepare and file relevant returns and support ROC filings and other regulatory disclosures.4. MIS Reporting:Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis of actual vs. budgeted figures.Develop and share financial MIS reports for management review.Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Key Skills & Qualifications:Graduate with a minimum of 3 to 7 years post-qualification experience.Proven experience in Taxation and compliance, accounting finalization, and statutory compliance.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Zoho Books, ERP or other softwarefor reporting, analysis, and reconciliations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
