Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with statutory compliances, and excellent coordination skills.The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, supporting financial reporting, ensuring statutory compliance, and coordinating with internal teams, auditors, vendors, banks, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks. The position will report directly to the CEO.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally ERP.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare Balance Sheet and provide monthly MIS reports.
GST & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns.
- Prepare and file TDS returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, bankers, and other stakeholders, and ensure all financial records and supporting documents are maintained accurately and are audit-ready.
- Follow up on pending documents, payments, statutory requirements, and compliance-related matters.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of finance-related activities and maintain effective communication across teams.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Corporate.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
