Job Title: Accountant (Sales/Purchase Entry)

Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to manage sales and purchase entries within our organization. The Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording all sales and purchase transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for accuracy.Responsibilities:Sales Entry:Record all sales transactions accurately and in a timely manner.Verify sales invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents.Update sales ledgers and customer accounts with relevant information.Reconcile sales data with bank deposits and cash receipts.Generate sales reports and analyze sales performance as required.Purchase Entry:Process purchase orders and invoices received from suppliers.Verify purchase invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders for accuracy.Enter purchase transactions into the accounting system and allocate expenses to appropriate accounts.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Maintain updated records of purchase transactions and vendor accounts.
