Accounts Receivable Executive - JD
Key responsibilities
1. Invoice Management: Generating, verifying, and distributing accurate and timely customer invoices based on sales orders and contracts.
2. Collection Accounting and Processing: Accounting for collections received and Monitoring customer accounts, tracking payments, and ensuring they are correctly applied to the relevant invoices in the accounting system.
3. Collections: Following up with customers on outstanding payments through various
communication channels (phone, email, letters) and resolving any billing discrepancies or disputes in a professional and timely manner.
4. Account Reconciliation: Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger and performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely posting of collections
5. Reporting: Generating and analyzing accounts receivable reports, including aging reports, cash collections, and bad debt analysis, to provide insights to management and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
6. Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining positive relationships with clients and collaborating with other departments (sales, customer service, etc.) to address customer concerns and ensure seamless collection processing.
Required skills and qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
Experience: 2+ Proven work experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
Technical Skills: Should have worked in ERP environment and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Soft Skills: Should be able to communicate well in Tamil and English
Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
