About the role
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Power BI development:
- Design, build, and maintain complex Power BI reports and interactive dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Develop and optimise Power BI semantic models with clean, reusable.
DAX measures:
- Implement row-level security (RLS), workspace governance, and deployment pipelines.
- Manage Power BI service workspaces, apps, scheduled refresh, and gateway configuration.
- Ensure dashboards are performant, mobile-responsive, and accessible.
Data modeling and ETL:
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to ingest data from various sources.
- Write efficient Spark SQL or Python (PySpark) scripts in Azure.
- Databricks to transform large datasets into analytical formats.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting layers.
- Work with data engineering teams to define upstream pipeline requirements.
- Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies between the source and reports.
