Research Associate/Analyst - Agriculture Domain:
What you'll be doing:
• Writing in-depth research reports and due diligence documents on agriculture markets
• Building and maintaining market-size and forecast models (volume & value) using historical data, assumptions, and scenario analysis
• Analyzing media articles, company filings, and industry data from global sources
• Present insights in client‑friendly formats (PowerPoint, dashboards, executive summaries) and support senior analysts/engagement managers during client calls
• Working across sub-sectors like crops, agri-inputs, agri commodities, animal nutrition, and global tradeWhat we're looking for:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Economics, or a related field
• 1+ year of experience in market research – agriculture specific or cross-domain
• Strong understanding of agriculture/agribusiness concepts – crops, inputs, value chains, seasonality, and global trade basics
• Analytical and critical‑thinking mindset with attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and large datasets.
• Excellent secondary research skills – knowing how to find, evaluate and synthesize information from diverse public and paid sources
• Proficiency in MS Office is a plus
