About the role
Role Summary:
Will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing modern observability solutions that enhance visibility, reliability, and automation across IT operations. Will work with clients to modernize their monitoring strategies, integrate AIOps platforms, and drive operational excellence through data-driven insights and automation.
Required Qualifications:
• 9–15 years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, or observability consulting.
• Hands-on experience with observability and AIOps tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially incident and problem management..
Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
• Assess current monitoring and observability maturity across infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Define and implement observability strategies aligned with business and IT objectives.
• Recommend and implement AIOps solutions to improve incident detection, correlation, and resolution.
• Deploy and configure observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Elastic Stack, and OpenTelemetry.
• Integrate AIOps platforms (e.g., Moogsoft, BigPanda, Splunk ITSI) with ITSM tools like ServiceNow for automated incident management.
• Design telemetry pipelines for logs, metrics, traces, and events across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Implement automation for alerting, remediation, and reporting using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Develop and optimize dashboards, alerts, and reports to support proactive monitoring and decision-making.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to embed observability into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfers with client teams.
• Translate technical insights into business value for leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
