About the role
Job Responsibilities:
- Should be able to take responsibility in developing an algo project and be a team player.
- Participate in requirement analysis and should follow up with documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET, Python, C++ on the vendor/in-house platforms.
- Test and deploy applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code.
- Improve existing software and work in a dynamic environment.
- Develop documentation throughout the SDLC.
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a .NET, Python, C++ Developer with domain knowledge.
- Knowledge of C, C++, C#, VB, and vendor platforms – Omnesys, Kambala, etc.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and design/architectural patterns like Omnesys Nest API.
- Familiarity with APIs (REST, RPC), JSON, XML, Web Services, Ajax.
- Added advantage if knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, PHP, SharePoint, MySQL, PS-SQL.
- Business knowledge: market knowledge in cash and futures & options, currency, and covering different algos for cash and futures segments.
Qualification:
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-4 years as a Trading Algo Developer in mid- and small-sized teams.
