About the role

TCS is hiring for Algolia Search Developer. Experience: 6 to 8 Years Location: Hyderabad
Responsibilities
  • Develop and integrate enterprise search solutions using Algolia.
  • Design and maintain indexes and indexing pipelines.
  • Configure search relevance, ranking, facets, filters, synonyms and Query Rules.
  • Implement search UI using React/Next.js and Algolia InstantSearch.
  • Integrate Algolia with CMS, commerce platforms and backend APIs.
  • Implement autocomplete, recommendations and personalization.
  • Optimize search performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Implement search analytics and user-event tracking.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Algolia Search & Discovery.
  • Algolia Search API, Indexing, InstantSearch and Autocomplete.
  • Ranking, Custom Ranking, Faceting, Filtering, Synonyms and Query Rules.
  • JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Next.js.
  • REST APIs and Node.js/backend integration.
  • Understanding of search architecture, relevance and performance optimization.
  • Good to Have
  • Algolia Recommend & Personalization.
  • AEM, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce or other CMS/eCommerce platforms.
  • Headless architecture and SEO knowled ge.
Qualifications: BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING
