Job Description
1.Import and Export Management:
●Manage the import and export of manufacturing
components (motors, batteries, sensors, etc.) and finished products to/from
international markets.
●Coordinate shipping schedules, routes, and
customs procedures to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with international
trade laws.
●Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and
distributors to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics.
1.Customs and Compliance:
●Ensure compliance with import/export
regulations, trade laws, tariffs, and sanctions in the drone manufacturing
industry.
●Prepare, review, and submit accurate
documentation for customs clearance, such as commercial invoices, packing
lists, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
●Stay updated on international trade
regulations, duty rates, and import/export restrictions affecting drone
technology.
1.Coordination:
●Collaborate with internal teams ( Sales &
Marketing , SCM Finance , R&D ) to manage Scomet Licencing , ETA /WPC
licencing
●Coordinate with Government, transport agencies
to get work done on time.
1.Vendor and Supplier Relationships:
●Build and maintain strong relationships with
international suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics service providers.
●Negotiate favorable terms with freight
carriers, customs brokers, and other external partners to reduce costs and
improve service delivery.
1.Documentation and Reporting:
●Ensure proper documentation and filing for all
imports and exports, maintaining a comprehensive record of transactions for
audit purposes.
●Generate regular reports on import/export
activities, costs, and any issues affecting the supply chain.
