Analyst – Category Analytics (7-Eleven GSC)
Role Summary:
The Analyst provides foundational analytics support across 7-Eleven’s retail categories, enabling fact-based decisions for Merchandising and Category Management. This role is critical in building accurate reporting, validating data, and delivering baseline insights that fuel category growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain standardized reports/dashboards on sales, promotions, assortment, and vendor performance across categories.

Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely delivery of recurring reports and ad-hoc requests.

Support pricing, promotion, and assortment analytics with initial insights and recommendations.

Collaborate with senior team members to prepare inputs for category reviews and strategy decks.

Maintain and improve data sources, trackers, and automation tools to drive efficiency.
Attributes:

Strong attention to detail with ability to validate and reconcile data across systems.

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau preferred).
