About the role
The Analytics Lead will drive data-driven decision-making across the Health Insurance business by leveraging advanced analytics, statistical modelling, and business insights. The role will work closely with business stakeholders across Claims, Underwriting, Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and Risk functions to identify opportunities, solve business problems, and deliver measurable business impact. The role requires a strong blend of technical analytics expertise (90%) and business partnering/stakeholder management (10%)
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business teams to identify high-impact opportunities and convert business problems into analytical solutions.
- Drive analytics-led recommendations to improve claims efficiency, fraud detection, customer retention, underwriting effectiveness, and portfolio profitability.
- Build predictive churn models, claims propensity, fraud detection, risk segmentation, customer lifetime value, and lead scoring.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and machine learning modelling.
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks using Power BI/Tableau.
- Work with large datasets from policy administration, claims, CRM, digital, and third-party sources.
- Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with business, technology, and data engineering teams.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Track and quantify the business impact of analytics initiatives.
- Build, validate, deploy, and monitor machine learning models for business use cases.
- Perform feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and model performance optimisation.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to productionize analytics and data science solutions.
