About the role
We're looking for a strong Android Engineer who can build high-performance, scalable mobile applications used by thousands of daily active users. If you care about clean architecture, real-time systems, and product quality, we'd love to talk. You'll work closely with backend, product, and design teams to ship fast, reliable features in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build and scale Android applications with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
- Architect clean, modular, and testable codebases.
- Optimize app performance, latency, and memory usage.
- Work on real-time data updates (WebSockets, streaming, push notifications).
- Collaborate with product and backend teams to design robust APIs.
- Take ownership of releases and production stability.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of hands-on Android development experience.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin (Java is a plus).
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, lifecycle, and Jetpack components.
- Experience with MVVM / Clean Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and WebSockets.
- Solid understanding of multithreading and performance optimization.
- Experience with unit testing and writing maintainable code.
- Exposure to CI/CD and release management.
Good to Have:
- Experience building fintech/trading/real-time products.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of app security best practices.
- Experience handling apps with 100K+ users.
