About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, technically proficient, and results-driven Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth for our core product lines: Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Customised Electrical Panels (Control/Power/PCC/MCC), and Active Harmonic Filters (AHFs). In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering concepts and commercial solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, understanding clients' technical requirements, and proposing tailored solutions to industrial clients, OEMs, contractors, and system integrators.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development and Sales: Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities across target industries (e. g., manufacturing, water treatment, HVAC, oil and gas, infrastructure).
- Technical Consultation: Conduct technical presentations, site surveys, and product demonstrations to explain the value proposition of our VFDs, Electrical Panels, and AHFs (especially emphasising energy savings and power quality improvement).
- Solution Engineering and Estimation: Collaborate with the internal design and estimation teams to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals that align with client specifications.
- Key Account Management: Maintain and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, OEMs, consultants, and electrical contractors.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technical advancements in power quality and automation solutions.
- After-Sales Coordination: Ensure smooth project handover to the execution/commissioning team and provide high-level support to guarantee client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent Engineering.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in the maintenance and repair of technical equipment.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and a high level of technical adaptability.
