We are seeking an Application Engineer to join our fast growing, collaborative team. The ideal candidate is self motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a high growth, innovative environment, contributing directly to technologies that are shaping the future of power electronics.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Support high voltage semiconductor testing and characterization of SiC MOSFET devices, including DPT, SOA, basic short circuit and ruggedness testing.
- Assist in designing power electronics schematics and PCB layouts for evaluation boards and test hardware, with focus on proper isolation, creepage/clearance, and measurement accuracy.
- Build, bring up, and validate EVAL boards for internal testing and customer demonstrations.
- Run device level and system level simulations using tools such as PLECS and SIMetrix.
- Perform hands on lab work, including measurements with oscilloscopes, probes, power analyzers, and electronic loads.
- Support development of application notes, test reports, and internal documentation.
- Provide technical support to FAEs and internal teams as part of customer enablement activities.
- Collaborate with R&D, product marketing, quality, and operations teams on customer programs and product development.
