Job Title: SAP Functional Architect
Primary Skill Alignment: SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA Finance and Procurement
Role Summary: Mphasis is seeking a SAP Functional Architect to support end-to-end SAP solution design for finance and procurement business requirements. The role will provide strategic leadership, architectural guidance, business integration, system optimization, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure SAP solutions effectively support global business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SAP solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Design, implement, and manage SAP solutions across SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
- Provide architectural direction for end-to-end global solution design, system integration, and process optimization.
- Establish and enforce SAP architectural standards and best practices.
- Understand finance and procurement business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP functional solutions.
- Act as a bridge between business teams and SAP technology stakeholders to ensure solutions are strategically sound and technically feasible.
- Drive continuous improvement of SAP systems, including performance optimization, security enhancements, and adoption of new technologies.
- Collaborate with business, application, infrastructure, security, and service management teams to deliver stable and efficient IT services.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in SAP functional architecture, solution design, and implementation.
- Deep knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA, especially finance and procurement processes.
- Experience in invoice-to-cash or related finance business processes.
- Ability to design integrated SAP solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
- Experience defining architectural standards, governance, and best practices for SAP environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage business and technology teams.
- Experience supporting digital transformation, process efficiency, and system optimization initiatives.
