Job Description
Role: Sr, Software Engineer (AS400)
Location: Offshore
Who are we looking for?
· Experience in AS400 Technologies like AS400 ILE, RPG, CL and DB2400
Technical Skills:
· Able to pick up the application knowledge, upstream and downstream application knowledge as well
· Able to take up support activities as well as able to handle the incidents and able to provide the RCA for the incidents
· Understand the business well to provide efficient guidance to the team , so that we an provide the high level fix for the incidents if it requires a code fix
· Train the team on the technical front, and guide them to create and do automations wherever possible
· Experience on the incident/ Ticket Flow.
· Job Qualification:
· Experience on ILE, RPG, CL and DB2 400
· Experience on As400 Configuration tools
· Experience in process management – Agile methodology
· Experience in Incident handling tools
Process Skills:
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
· Ability to work with others in a team environment
· Ability to work on aggressive schedules, may require occasional work beyond normal hours (weekends or evenings)
· Also able to work in shifts and able to handle the incidents on timeSupport and meeting the SLA’s .
Behavioral Skills:
· Good communication , Good attitude, willingness to learn
Qualification:
· Bachelor or Engineering
