About the role
Role: Assistant Manager - Delivery Process: Prior Authorization (US Healthcare) Location: Hyderabad Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Prior Authorization operations for US Healthcare accounts. Ensure timely and accurate processing of authorization requests, referrals, and payer follow-ups. Monitor team productivity, quality, SLA adherence, and client deliverables. Handle escalations and work closely with internal stakeholders, providers, insurance payers, and clients. Analyze process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive operational excellence. Conduct regular team reviews, coaching sessions, and performance management activities. Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines, client requirements, and organizational policies. Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to management and clients. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of team members. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications 8 to 12 years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Prior Authorization operations. Strong knowledge of insurance verification, authorization workflows, payer guidelines, and denial prevention. Proven experience in team handling, client management, and stakeholder communication. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and people management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in managing quality, productivity, and SLA metrics. Preferred Qualifications Experience handling large teams and client-facing responsibilities. Exposure to process improvement methodologies and transition projects. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and healthcare workflow tools.
