About the role
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting, financial closure, statutory compliance support, reconciliations, banking operations, MIS reporting, and audit coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and support monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
- Initiate vendor and business payments through banking portals as per approved processes.
- Perform reconciliation of Form 26AS with books of accounts and Form 16A with vendor/customer ledgers.
- Prepare and review vendor, customer, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports and financial schedules.
- Support statutory, tax, internal, and other audits with required schedules and documentation.
- Prepare GST and TDS workings and support timely statutory compliance and filings.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and SOPs.
- Work closely with auditors, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- IPCC/CA Intermediate qualified with CA discontinued and 4–5 years of relevant experience; OR
- in Finance & Accounts/Commerce with 6–7 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
- SAP experience is mandatory.
Mandatory Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, hands-on experience in SAP, GST & TDS compliance, account reconciliations, audit support, MIS reporting, banking operations, and advanced MS Excel including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS.
