Assistant Manager- Finance

We are looking for a highly driven Assistant Manager (Finance) to own the monthly close, reporting, and compliance processes. In this full-time role, you will lead group statutory and tax audits, drive MIS and business partnering, and oversee cash, AP/AR, and reconciliations. You will also manage and review junior team members while focusing on process automation and continuous improvement.

· Own the monthly close on Zoho and lead Group statutory and tax audits for reporting.
· Ensure strict controls and compliance by running the internal-controls checklist, maintaining audit-ready books with zero high-risk observations, and handling GST, TDS, and income-tax compliance.
· Drive MIS and business partnering by providing monthly MIS and insights to senior management by the 10th of the following month, conducting variance analysis, and supporting decisions with data.
· Review associate work before sign-off, cut close-cycle time, and drive automation across teams and processes.
· Provide comprehensive oversight across cash, AP/AR, and reconciliations within the owned scope.

Requirements

· Qualified CA with 4-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
· Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and income-tax.
· Highly accurate and proactive approach to catch and fix issues before they escalate.
· Experience managing and reviewing junior team members and collaborating effectively across teams.
· Hands-on experience with Zoho and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
· Strong automation mindset with a focus on process improvement, tooling, and AI-driven finance workflows.

· Prior finance experience in SaaS, fintech, or startup environments.
