Job Description:
· New Product development /Execution of packaging & development activities
· Engage in Mold development process with R&D and conduct validations / FATs.
· Responsible for End to End packaging development and designing activity for new products
· Planning and coordinating activities for specifications of packaging components
· Development of a prototype for the purpose of a manufacturing trial
· Responsible for Development, Implementation, Maintenance and cost optimization of rigid components
· Identify alternate suppliers/Manage Vendor Audits to facilitate dual sourcing.
· Collaborate with Cross functional team for various processes, guidelines and policies
· Identify alternate packaging technology/materials in order to reduce the cost of the material thereby improving margins and the company’s bottom line
· Conducting periodical reviews of packaging materials & processes to reduce packaging material costs & wastages
· Providing input in deciding packaging materials for new briefs. Developing SOPs to validate new packaging materials through trials.
· Review and update the current processes and systems specifically regarding packaging reporting.
· Preparation of plan for periodical audits at manufacturing units and vendors to ensuring proper quality checks.
· Resolving quality complaints regarding packaging.
· Artwork development co-ordinate for approval and issue of print proofs and shade card
· Preparation of strategies for packaging development for timely delivery of all New Packaging initiatives / services as per customer requirement in full meeting all quality requirements.
· Checking methods / process adopted for getting defect free packaging materials for new launches.
