Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Ensure continuous improvement in Supplier Quality (GR and LR and Field Complaints related to bought-out components.Plan and organize periodic audits to ensure quality assured processes and systems.Provide technical support to vendors to sustain and continuously improve in the quality of components supplied.Provide technical support to establish process stability / capability.Identify need for corrective action by vendors for any deviations from established standards.Adherence to Quality Systems Requirements.Upgrade Supplier Capabilities through Formal Training.Understand customer needs and correlate those requirements to product characteristics.Supplier Evaluation Preferred Industries Automobile Education Qualification Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile General Experience 4-6 years in Automobile working in Supplier Quality Assurance Critical Experience System Generated Core Skills 7 QC Tools Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Analytics Auditing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Metallurgy Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) System Generated Secondary Skills Communication Skills Teamwork
