About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Define the multi-year product strategy, north-star outcomes, and roadmap for settlements, reconciliation, pricing, and refunds.
  • Build scalable platforms that improve automation, accuracy, observability, exception handling, and self-service across post-transaction workflows.
  • Translate financial, operational, regulatory, and merchant needs into clear product priorities and reusable platform capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end product execution, from discovery and business case through design, delivery, rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture on resilient, high-throughput systems, integrations, data contracts, and operational tooling.
  • Establish strong product governance through metrics, service levels, control frameworks, incident learning, and roadmap reviews.
  • Balance speed, merchant experience, and commercial goals with financial safety, compliance, and operational control.
  • Drive simplification of fragmented or manual processes through workflow redesign, rule engines, APIs, dashboards, and intelligent automation.
  • Work with business and operations teams on rollout strategy, exception management, merchant communication, and adoption.
  • Develop product talent, create clarity of ownership, and raise the quality of product thinking and execution across the charter.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of product management or closely related experience, including experience leading complex products, platforms, or product teams.
  • Strong systems thinking and demonstrated ability to simplify multi-step workflows involving data, money movement, controls, or enterprise operations.
  • Experience building B2B, platform, marketplace, fintech, banking, SaaS, or other high-scale transaction products; direct payment experience is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work deeply with engineering while clearly articulating customer, commercial, and operational outcomes.
  • Strong analytical orientation, including comfort with product metrics, financial levers, service levels, and operational data.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align teams with different incentives and priorities.
  • Experience leading high-stakes launches, platform migrations, or transformation programs with disciplined risk and change management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make complex topics simple and decisions ready.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is advantageous.
