About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Manager, Taxation to oversee our taxation matters in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related issues in India, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and minimizing tax liabilities. The candidate should have 4-7 years of experience in managing taxation matters in India.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tax planning strategies for the company's operations in India.

Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations in India, including direct and indirect taxes.

Manage tax audits, assessments, and appeals in India, and ensure that all necessary documentation is in place.

End to end ownership of all tax compliances across group

Review and provide input on contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure tax compliance.

Coordinate with external tax consultants and advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and payments.

Manage the tax accounting function, including the preparation and review of tax provisions, tax returns, and tax reconciliations.

Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in India and advise the company on the impact of these changes.

Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and other government agencies in India.
Requirements:

CA qualification.

4-7 years of experience in managing taxation matters in India.

In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations, including direct and indirect taxes.

Experience in tax planning, tax compliance, and tax accounting.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
