Opening for one of the reputed Automobile company for chenai position.
Assistant Engineer - I, Maintenance (Mechanical)
Experience : 4 - 8 years
Salary (in Rs.) : 4 – 5 Lakhs per annum
Working days : 6 days working in shifts rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible to trouble shoot and provide necessary actions in case of any issues with respect to machines, fixture and Pneumatic, Hydraulic, etc.
- Preventive Maintenance Master Plan and Schedule Preparation.
- Carry out the Daily maintenance and verify its effectiveness of PM done.
- Update the Preventive maintenance work instruction and check sheet as when required.
- Support and fix any line start up issue related to Machine, Poke Yoke function, TPM etc.
- Change the consumables items / spares / tools / tips etc timely as per scheduled frequency.
- Check the machine / fixture as per the daily PM check sheet in the Machine and update the record accordingly.
- Any Improvements in the working line can be identified, reported to his superior and implement as agreed with his manager.
- Responsible for the Machine 6S and Safety
- Update daily the machine history card if any break down more than 30 minutes and any critical spare change in the machine.
- Daily Maintenance Check sheet update .
- PLC Programming Knowledge added advantage.
- Electric and electronic troubleshooting
- Knowledge in sensors, Proximity switches.
Requirements:
· Qualification :
· Diploma in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics, relevant experience at Semi / Fully automated assembly lines in Auto component Industries, preferably in motor manufacturing Industry.
· Candidate having valid passport is added advantage
· Must be willing to undergo overseas technical training if chosen
· Must be willing to sign a 2-year service bond post overseas technical training.
· Skills :
· Systematic approach of problem solving.
· Good working knowledge in deep down Root causes analysis using “Why - Why “Technique.
· Have solid experience in achieving the machine efficiency, reducing PPM and Scrap.
· Ability to understand Cycle of Learning from every analysis and results and provide necessary inputs to the immediate supervisor / Manager to create new standards , roll out new work instructions.
· Sound knowledge and systematic approach of Machine, Fixtures mechanical troubleshooting.
· Knowledge of Fixtures concepts and principles
· Basic machining ability in lathe, grinding, turning and milling.
· Sound Knowledge in Preventive and Predictive maintenance.
· Monitor and achieve MTTR and MTBF
· Demonstrate the necessary skills for the Machine Safety and 6S.
· Exposure to IATF Quality Systems.
· Sound knowledge in pneumatic and hydraulics
· Knowledge in Maintenance of Automatic assembly line ( DC motor Assembly line Added Advantage ).
· Knowledge in Servo Drive and Servo Motor, Stepper Motors.
· Knowledge in Gears .
