About the role
As an audio DSP Engineer, you will design and develop embedded software and DSP components for audio subsystems in SoCs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, understand audio architecture, and translate specifications into robust DSP software, audio processing components, and supporting software infrastructure. The role emphasizes audio DSP software design, development, optimization, and debugging.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in C programming.
- Write low-level firmware, fine-tuning for performance.
- Understanding DSP code, DSP extensions, data parallelism, writing lightweight code, and DSP code optimization.
- Audio experience (understanding a glitch, the reason for the glitch, latency, timestamp issues, packet loss, mixing, filtering, enhancing audio, noise reduction, etc. ) HAL development in Audio.
- ALSA Audio development experience.
Good to Have:
- Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and audio tools, including Audio Precision.
- Know Python and be able to write test code using Python.
