About the role
We are seeking a GCB5 Automation Analyst with strong experience in Python-based automation, EUC remediation, and finance data operations. The role focuses on reducing manual, spreadsheet-driven finance processes by building scalable, governed automation solutions using Python, Alteryx, SQL, and BI tools, with increasing adoption of AI-assisted automation.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and remediate EndUser Computing (EUC) risks, especially Excel-heavy finance processes.
- Replace manual workflows with Python and Alteryx-based automation.
- Build production-grade Python pipelines using Pandas and NumPy.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, error handling, and RTB support.
- Develop Alteryx workflows and SQL transformations (CTEs, window functions).
- Build Power BI / Tableau dashboards for finance and operational reporting.
- Work with finance datasets, including transactions, reconciliations, credit, AR/AP, and revenue data.
- Support audit, controls, and governance requirements.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of total professional experience (strict requirement).
- Python (Pandas, NumPy) for automation.
- Alteryx Designer (workflow development).
- SQL (complex queries, transformations).
- Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Finance / Banking / Risk / Audit / Financial Operations exposure.
- GenAI / ML-assisted automation.
- Azure Data Factory or similar orchestration tools.
- EUC governance and regulatory exposure.
