Title: Automation and Data Specialist (Lead)

Role Summary and Impact :
We are seeking a versatile Automation & Data Lead to enhance our business efficiency and enable smarter decision-making through technology and data.
This role requires an experienced hands-on specialist who can operate at the level of process, data, and tooling. You will analyse how data moves across the media planning and performance functions, identify failure points and inefficiencies, and implement targeted automation and improved data flows.
The current landscape relies heavily on Excel-based processes, manual data handling, and data movement between multiple internal platforms, with a limited use of structured automation.
You will identify, design and streamline workflows to minimise manual tasks, and highlight critical data to inform strategic choices.

What will you do :
- Analyse patterns and trends in existing business processes and data to identify automation opportunities, support strategy and continuous improvement.
- Analyse and refactor complex manual processes.
- Develop data transformation logic to refactor complex manual transformations, standardise and automate repeatable processes.
- Architect, build and deploy end-to-end automation workflows using low-code platforms and custom scripts.
- Responsible for high-quality automation outputs including current state process maps, target state designs, and a prioritised automation backlog.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise automation systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Support departments in adopting new technologies to reduce repetitive tasks and improve service delivery.
- Apply your communication, collaboration and emotional intelligence skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with other teams and departments.
