- Job Description Automation Test Engineer We are seeking a detail-oriented and 3+ years of experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with expertise in website(s) testing to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our website(s) through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, exceptional analytical skills, and a deep understanding of website(s). Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for website(s) systems and applications. Ensure testing strategies align with project requirements and industry best practices. Test Execution: Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on website(s). Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for website(s) applications. Utilize test automation tools to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify expectations, and provide feedback on product quality. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand-ups
- Performance Testing: Perform load and stress testing to ensure website(s) systems can handle peak loads and perform optimally under various conditions. Analyze performance test results and recommend improvements. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by identifying areas for optimization and implementing new tools or techniques. Implement best practices and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
- Compliance: Ensure all website(s) and QA activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred) Hands on 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing
- Proficient in Selenium, webdriverIO, REST Assured, and API testing. Very Good understanding on testing life cycle, testing types and test methods Knowledge of RESTful web services and their implementation. Familiar with Agile software development methodologies
- Test Environment Setup as per ongoing projects Strong understanding of the Automation Test Frameworks Knowledge of web page development would be plus (e.g. ReactJs, NodeJs) Knowledge of bug tracking tools(eg. Jira) & code version control(eg. SVN, git) Knowledge of databases like MYSQL , NOSQL would be plus Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team with data oriented personality
