About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust End-to-End (E2E) automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation solutions.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Perform manual and automated API testing for application services.
- Create and maintain API test scenarios using Postman.
- Validate application workflows and business processes.
- Create test scenarios, test cases, and automation strategies based on business requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects with proper reporting.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Execute automated test suites and analyse results to improve application quality.
- Contribute to automation framework improvements and QA process enhancements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming experience in Java and understanding of OOP concepts.
- Hands-on experience in E2E framework development and automation architecture.
- Strong experience in API testing (manual and automation).
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API validation and testing.
- Strong understanding of automation framework design patterns and best practices.
- Good knowledge of SQL queries and database validation.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and the defect lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript will be an added advantage.
