Automation testing with AWS

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based testing environments (AWS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web, API, and cloud applications hosted on AWS.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TestNG.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks for web and API testing.
• Work closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on cloud-hosted applications (AWS).
• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure test environments are properly configured and scalable on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Implement and manage test data and test reporting in cloud environments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and identify root causes of test failures.

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java / Python / JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured.
• Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Karate, etc.).
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).
• Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes for containerized testing environments (optional but preferred).

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher certification.
• Experience in performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
