Senior IoT QA Engineer – Automation
Location: India – Remote

SoftClouds is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in API automation, AWS cloud validation, and database testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and end-to-end quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain API automation scripts using the Karate framework.
Perform API, functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
Validate backend data across SQL databases, DynamoDB, and Amazon Redshift.
Integrate automation suites with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
Perform cloud-based application and system integration testing using AWS.
Develop reusable automation components and maintain test frameworks.
Prepare test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases.
Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in QA and software testing.
Strong hands-on experience with Karate API Automation Framework.
Experience with AWS services and API validation.
Database testing using SQL, DynamoDB, and Amazon Redshift.
Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
Web automation experience using Selenium or similar tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, and test management tools.
Good to Have
IoT application testing experience.
Postman, Bruno, or Rest Assured.
Xray Test Management.
Performance testing and JavaScript basics.
