About the role
Role Overview
The ideal candidate should have experience with Claude AI, Azure services, C#/.NET, distributed systems, and secure application development. The role involves designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining scalable and secure enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
- Develop and manage Azure Function Apps, particularly Durable Functions, for orchestrating workflows and distributed processes.
- Implement application monitoring, logging, and performance tracking using Azure Application Insights.
- Manage application secrets and configurations using Azure Key Vault and Azure Storage Accounts.
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and API integrations using Azure API Management.
- Implement event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka.
- Work with JSON, REST, and data-based APIs to facilitate seamless application communication.
- Configure and manage application registrations and authentication mechanisms within Microsoft Azure.
- Use GitHub for source control, collaboration, and version management.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
- Follow secure development practices and apply appropriate authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
- Apply Dependency Injection principles to build modular, maintainable, and testable applications.
- Develop automated unit tests using .NET testing frameworks and Moq.
- Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and ensure application quality through effective testing.
- Proactively monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and scalability.
- Explore and integrate Claude AI capabilities into applications where required by business needs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Claude AI and its integration into applications.
- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
- Experience with Azure Function Apps, especially Durable Functions.
- Practical knowledge of Azure Application Insights, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts.
- Experience with OpenAPI, Azure API Management, REST APIs, JSON, and data-based APIs.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven integration patterns.
- Experience with Azure App Registration and application authentication.
- Proficiency in GitHub and CI/CD processes within a DevOps environment.
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices and Dependency Injection.
- Experience with TDD, .NET unit testing frameworks, and Moq.
- Ability to monitor application telemetry, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance.
