Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data models using data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Fact & Dimension Tables).
• Develop, optimize, and manage databases using SQL Server (T-SQL, Performance Tuning, Indexing). Orchestrate and automate ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Build, maintain, and optimize ELT workflows.
• Process and transform big data using Azure Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake).
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Utilize CI/CD tools for data pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform for IaC).
• Create data visualizations using Power BI or other visualization tools.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations.

Required Skills:

• Data Warehousing Concepts: Critical for designing scalable and efficient data models. SQL Server (T-SQL, Performance Tuning, Indexing): Essential for querying, optimizing, and managing databases.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF): Required for orchestrating and automating ELT pipelines. Ability to Work Independently
• Must be self-sufficient and proactive, utilizing Coforge technical resources when needed. Azure Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake): Needed for big data processing and transformation.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. CI/CD for Data Pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform for IaC): Useful for automation, version control, and deployment efficiency. Power BI (or other visualization tools)

Nice-to-have for understanding how data is consumed in reporting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working U.S. hours. Minimal oversight required. Notes: Core foundational knowledge for designing scalable and efficient data models. Strong SQL skills are essential for querying, optimizing, and managing databases. Required for orchestrating and automating ELT pipelines. Must be able to build, maintain, and optimize ELT workflows. Key soft skill - must be self-sufficient and proactive.
