About the role
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps, AKS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable deployment pipelines and containerised workloads on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Build automated pipelines for application build, testing, deployment and release.
- Manage multi-stage YAML pipelines across development, QA, UAT and production environments.
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using AKS.
- Manage Kubernetes resources, deployments, services, ingress and namespaces.
- Create and maintain Helm charts for application deployments.
- Implement deployment strategies such as Rolling, Blue-Green or Canary deployments.
- Configure secrets, variables and environment-specific configurations securely.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health and troubleshoot production issues.
- Implement DevOps best practices for automation, security and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security and infrastructure teams.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Good hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
- Experience with Git and branching strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AKS/Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps and Secrets.
- Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes package management.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, IAM/RBAC, monitoring and security.
- Experience in troubleshooting deployment, container and Kubernetes-related issues.

Candidate Profile:
- Candidates should have strong hands-on Azure DevOps and Kubernetes/AKS experience, with the ability to independently manage CI/CD pipelines and containerised application deployments in Azure environments.
