About the role
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java 8 Spring Boot, microservices, Spring JPA, REST APIs, JUnit, Kafka, and AWS. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend applications and distributed microservices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java 8
- Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
- Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Implement database access and persistence using Spring Data JPA / Spring JPA.
- Develop event-driven applications and integrations using Apache Kafka.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on AWS.
- Participate in code reviews and follow clean coding and development best practices.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, product, and other engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Java 8
- Strong Spring Boot.
- Strong in Microservices Architecture.
- Strong with Spring Data JPA / JPA
- Strong knowledge of REST API development.
- Strong/Mandatory Kafka.
- Good hands-on experience with JUnit.
- Hands-on experience in AWS.
