Backend Developer (Node.js | Express | Next.js | MongoDB)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer with deep expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and Next.js. The ideal candidate will excel in designing and developing robust RESTful APIs and microservices, enabling efficient communication between systems and front-end applications. A strong understanding of MongoDB and hands-on experience with server-side logic, data processing, and performance optimization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and Next.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement and maintain MongoDB schemas and perform database optimization.
• Develop unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
• Participate in Agile development practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce high standards of code quality and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and availability issues.
• Implement best practices for backend architecture, data handling, and security.
