Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of backend systems, focusing on outcomes rather than just task completion.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
- Make independent architectural and technical decisions with accountability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade code.
- Build systems with strong observability (logging, monitoring, tracing) from the ground up.
- Ensure performance optimization and APM awareness across services.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Leverage AI tools effectively as part of the development workflow (not as a substitute for critical thinking).
Requirements:
- 2-6 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
- Solid understanding of databases, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and ClickHouse (OLTP and OLAP systems).
- Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- High ownership mindset with strong follow-through.
- Ability to make decisions and execute without constant supervision.
