About the role
The core requirements for the job include the following:
Backend - Primary:
- 4-8+ years of strong backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python / Java / Golang.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Experience with Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, performance, and API architecture.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with AWS / GCP / Azure.
AI / GenAI:
- Hands-on experience building LLM/GenAI applications.
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering and LLM APIs.
- Experience with LangChain / LangGraph / LlamaIndex or similar frameworks.
- Experience integrating AI models into backend applications.
- Understanding of AI agents / agentic workflows is preferred.
- Experience with AI evaluation, observability, hallucination mitigation, and LLM optimisation is a plus.
