About the role
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Strong experience building scalable Node.js applications.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
Core Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with Express.js and Fastify.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of authentication frameworks (JWT, OAuth).
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and performance optimisation.
- Experience with unit testing using Jest or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
