Backend Engineer – Evidence & Audit Pipeline (Senior)
Experience band: 7–10 years
Builds the tamper-evident audit trail that regulators and
auditors will inspect.
Responsibilities
•Builds a Kafka consumer service that
canonicalises request records, hash-chains them and writes them to write-once
object storage
•Integrates with the client SIEM (syslog, CEF or
Splunk HEC) and builds chain-verification tooling
•Designs retention, legal hold and cryptographic
purge for personal data
Must have
•7+ years in backend engineering (Go, Java or
Python)
•Kafka, S3-compatible object storage, PostgreSQL
•Applied cryptography basics: hashing, signing,
key management
Nice to have
•Experience with audit or compliance data in
banking or financial services
