About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
- Build and optimise microservices and distributed systems on AWS.
- Develop robust REST APIs and integrate internal and external services.
- Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Work with Product, Mobile, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end.
- Participate in HLD/LLD, architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
- Take ownership of projects from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Contribute to engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements:
- Backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang.
- Good understanding of DSA, concurrency, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, REST APIs, databases, caching, and messaging systems.
- Working knowledge of HLD/LLD and system design.
- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
- Build and scale AI-powered consumer products.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Founders.
- Solve real-world problems involving scale, performance, and distributed systems.
