About the role
Job Title: BE Planning Integrator
Job DescriptionBE Planning Integrator (Contract Worker) for its Direct Material Procurement / Material Planning organization in India. This role serves as the primary interface between the Contract Manufacturer (CM) Material team and the Back-End (BE) Planning team, translating Consumer Solutions (CS) demand changes into aligned CM supply and material plans.
The successful candidate will strengthen demand-change visibility, improve supply-demand alignment, and drive early-warning risk management across the material portfolio. The role works closely with BE Planning, Procurement, CM sites, GSM/GCM, Analytics, and Project Atlas teams to improve forecast accuracy and bias, validate CM Portal data quality, and support Atlas S/4HANA CM MRP User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment readiness.
This role will perform the following recurring activities:
• CM Material Team & BE Planning Interface: serve as the primary planning interface between the CM Material team and BE Planning; consolidate and communicate material plans and demand signals to CM sites; coordinate regular plan reviews; resolve build-plan versus material-plan misalignment; and maintain trackers for demand changes, supply commitments, risks, and open actions.
• CS Demand Change & CM Strategy Alignment: align CS demand changes with CM strategy, including plant phase-in, phase-out, and site-allocation decisions; translate upside, downside, site swings, cancellations, pull-ins, and push-outs into actionable supply, reallocation, and transition plans.
• Supply / Demand Management & Demand-Change Visibility: enhance supply-demand balancing through DSI, WOI/WOS, shortage, excess, and liability analysis; consolidate CM and internal forecast data; and drive mitigation actions such as site balancing, PO cancellation, push-out, buyback, or re-sell.
• Early-Warning Signals & Risk Mitigation: monitor demand volatility, supply constraints, and potential material liability; identify high- and medium-risk items; link gaps to root cause, owner, mitigation path, and closure plan; and escalate unresolved risks through appropriate governance channels.
• Forecast Accuracy & Bias Improvement: measure forecast accuracy and bias using agreed planning metrics, including MAPE and forecast bias; analyze forecast-versus-actual variances; provide feedback to BE Planning; and maintain KPI dashboards and management reporting.
• CM Portal Data Quality & Validation: reconcile and validate planning data across CM Portal, ERP, and related systems; identify discrepancies; coordinate corrective actions with process owners; and support continuous improvement of data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy.
• Atlas S4 CM MRP UAT Support: prepare test scenarios, execute tests, track defects and issues, perform retesting, and complete business validation; validate MRP outputs, planning logic, master-data conversion, reports, and interfaces; and document readiness for deployment.
