About the role
BOM Management & Analysis:
- Create a BOM structure in CODEP and EBOM
- Develop, maintain, and validate BOMs for new and existing products.
- Update ODM and CN’s
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of BOM data in PLM/ERP systems.
- Support product lifecycle stages by providing BOM-related insights and reports.
Configuration Management:
- Deep Understanding of Product features / Product grid
- Update Product grid in the configuration systems.
- Manage product configuration rules and ensure they align with design and production requirements.
- Monitor and implement changes in configurations to support customer-specific requirements or product variants.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth execution of configured products.
Change Management:
- Lead Change management meetings with MR and Plant team.
- Coordinate and execute engineering change requests (ECRs) and change orders (ECOs).
- Ensure proper documentation and communication of changes to all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain traceability of changes to meet compliance and audit requirements.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality, to ensure alignment on BOM data.
- Act as a liaison between R&D and manufacturing teams for BOM-related issues.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 6–12 years of experience in BOM management, product lifecycle management, or a related field.
- Prior experience with PLM and ERP systems (e.g., PLM , Teamcenter, SAP).
