Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Communications or Marketing preferred.
Experience
- 8-12 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Media Relations.
- Experience in the BFSI is mandatory or insurance industry preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute PR strategies that enhance Kotak Life’s brand visibility and reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, media houses and key industry stakeholders.
- Create communication assets including press releases, media notes, FAQs, Q&As, speeches, and leadership messages.
- Identify and secure media opportunities for Kotak Life and its leadership team across business, financial, advertising & marketing (A&M), technology and mainstream media.
- Coordinate media interactions, interviews, press conferences, media briefings and industry events.
- Partner with business, product, marketing, and leadership teams to create communication materials.
- Track, analyse and report on brand and leadership PR performance, media coverage, and share of voice.
- Manage PR agency relationships and ensure effective execution of communication initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to compliance requirements across all PR and external communication materials.
- Liaise with industry bodies, partners, and event organisers to maximise brand visibility and thought leadership opportunities.
- Drive Online Reputation Management (ORM) by monitoring digital conversations, tracking brand sentiments and ensuring timely responses to customer queries.
