Job Title: Bridges – Business Development (BD) Location: Hyderabad (Need to Travel PAN India) Company: Pennar Industries Experience: 15+ Years Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Leader to drive Pan-India sales and growth for Steel Bridges, Fabricated Steel Structures, and Infrastructure Projects. The role focuses on strategic sales leadership, tendering, commercial closures, and expanding market presence across key infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities • Lead Pan-India sales and business development for steel bridges and fabricated structures. • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational growth plans. • Identify and pursue new opportunities in Metro, Railways, Highways, Oil & Gas, and Industrial Infrastructure sectors. • Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, government agencies, and key customers. • Lead tendering, bidding, techno-commercial discussions, and final negotiations. • Ensure seamless handover to engineering and project teams for execution. • Drive order booking targets, revenue growth, and profitability. • Establish and manage channel partners, distributors, and erection partners. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. • Lead and mentor multi-location sales and project support teams. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning activities. Required Skills & Competencies • Strong experience in infrastructure / steel bridge projects. • Proven track record in large-value order closures. • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills. • Strong understanding of tendering processes (Government & Private). • Leadership experience managing cross-functional and regional teams.
