About the role
• • • • • • Independently own and drive AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) development activities for automotive embedded projects. Coordinate and provide technical guidance to junior engineers for BSW development, integration, and issue resolution. Handle ticket analysis, task planning, effort estimation, prioritization, and execution of BSW activities. Collaborate effectively with remote teams across multiple locations and support global project execution. Develop, integrate, configure, and validate AUTOSAR BSW modules and Complex Device Drivers (CDD). Support software integration, defect analysis, debugging, and root-cause investigation. Ensure compliance with software quality standards, ASPICE processes, MISRA C guidelines, and ISO 26262 requirements.
• • • • • • • • Proficiency in Embedded C programming and MISRA C guidelines. Strong expertise in AUTOSAR Basic Software, including Diagnostics Stack, Communication Stack, and Memory Stack. Experience working with AUTOSAR OS and Complex Device Driver (CDD) development. Proficiency in Vector DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer. Hands-on experience with Infineon AURIX or equivalent automotive microcontrollers. Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, UDS, and OBD. Expertise in development and validation tools such as CANoe, CANape, and CAPL. Strong debugging skills using cross-compilers, debuggers (UDE preferred), and embedded development tools. Experience in software integration, build environments, and continuous integration workflows.
Education: Electronics/ Electrical Graduate or above
