About the role
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer who can design, develop, and deploy business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and integrating data from various sources to create insightful dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create data models and write efficient DAX queries.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions.
- Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.).
- Optimize dashboards and reports for performance and usability.
- Implement row-level security and user access controls.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and perform data validation.
- Schedule data refreshes and manage Power BI workspace and service.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling).
- Expertise in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
- Experience in data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
- Familiarity with Power BI Service and Power BI Gateway.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
