Location : India Job Overview: Seasoned finance consulting leader to head our Finance & Accounting Consulting practice in India. This role involves driving strategic growth, leading large-scale finance transformation programs, and advising global clients on optimizing their finance operations. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of experience, possessing deep expertise in finance processes, technology enablement, and shared services. As the practice head, you will manage P&L, build high-performing teams, and position the organization as a thought leader in the finance consulting space. Key responsibilities: 1. Practice Leadership & Strat egy • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the F&A Consulting practice in India, aligned with global objectives. • Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, account expansion, and innovative service offerings. • Develop go-to-market strategies for finance transformation, shared services, and digital finance solutions. • Manage P&L for the practice, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. • Strong knowledge of core finance processes such as Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and related sub-processes, along with experience in implementing best practices and digital solutions. 2. Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence • Lead large-scale finance transformation programs, including process optimization, automation, and digital enablement. • Advise CFOs and senior finance leaders on operating model design, cost optimization, and technology adoption. • Oversee delivery of complex consulting engagements, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. • Act as an escalation point for critical client issues and ensure client satisfaction. 3. Team Development & Capability Building • Build and mentor a high-performing consulting team with expertise in finance processes, ERP systems, and emerging technologies. • Drive recruitment, training, and career development initiatives to strengthen practice capabilities. • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. 4. Thought Leadership & Market Positioning • Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and client events. • Publish insights, whitepapers, and case studies on finance trends, digital finance, and shared services evolution. • Build strong relationships with industry analysts and influencers to enhance market visibility. 5. Operational Excellence • Establish governance frameworks for project delivery, risk management, and compliance. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for practice performance and implement corrective actions as needed. • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. 6. Technology & Innovation • Drive the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) into core finance processes such as Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) to deliver measurable business outcomes. • Identify emerging digital solutions that enhance efficiency, improve compliance, and enable predictive insights for finance operations. • Collaborate with technology partners and internal stakeholders to recommend scalable digital finance platforms aligned with client transformation goals. Must have skills: • Extensive consulting and domain experience in all areas of Finance and accounting processes. • Strong ‘hands on’ experience across Industry sectors with strategic thinking. • Track record of delivering at all levels within an organization both business & IT (digital) capabilities. • Exposure to global delivery models and shared services/outsourcing environments. • Knowledge of emerging technologies in finance (AI, ML, Blockchain). • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions. Qualification: • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting consulting, transformation, or advisory roles with a total work experience of 15 to 22 Years. • Strong understanding of ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.), automation tools (RPA), and analytics solutions.
Principal Design Director – BPO8 – PAN India Domain & Functional Exper tise Deep expertise in GCC and GBS design, setup, scale, and transformation. Strong understanding of shared services, captive centers, and global delivery models. Functional depth in Finance & Accounting, HR, Procurement, IT, or Enterprise Operations. Consulting & Leadership Skills Proven experience leading large-scale, C-suite-facing consulting engagements. Strong capability in operating model design, business case development, and transformation roadmaps. Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Strategic & Commercial Acumen Ability to link GBS/GCC strategies to enterprise value levers (cost, efficiency, agility, growth). Strong experience in proposal development, deal shaping, and client relationship management. High level of business judgment, risk management, and decision-making. Global & Cross-Cultural Experience Experience working with global, multi-geo stakeholders across Americas, Europe, and APAC. Strong appreciation of cultural, regulatory, and talent nuances across offshore and nearshore locations. Change Management & Adoption Understanding of organizational change management (communications, stakeholder readiness, workforce transition). Ability to anticipate resistance and embed adoption mechanisms into GCC/GBS designs. Benchmarking & Industry Intelligence Familiarity with GBS/GCC benchmarks (cost, productivity, span of control, pyramid, service maturity). Ability to interpret and contextualize benchmarks rather than apply them mechanically. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, and process maturity models. Ability to link process excellence initiatives with automation and analytics. Digital, Automation & AI Awareness Conceptual understanding of: RPA, process mining, workflow tools Analytics, dashboards, service management platforms GenAI and AI-assisted operations in GBS/GCCs Risk, Compliance & Controls Awareness Awareness of regulatory, data privacy, SOX, internal controls, and audit considerations in global operations. Ability to factor risk and compliance into design decisions without over-engineering. Executive Facilitation & Workshop Design Skilled in designing and running executive workshops, design-thinking sessions, and steering committees.
