About the role

Why This RoleGovernment procurement in India is booming, and Techdome is scaling its public-sector business fast. This isn't a back-office bidding job — you'll own tenders end-to-end, sit close to leadership, and directly shape which government departments and PSUs become long-term Techdome accounts. Your wins are tracked, visible, and celebrated. You'll also get to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) daily to cut research and drafting time in half — so you spend more energy on strategy and relationships, less on paperwork. What You'll Do
  • Track and shortlist relevant tenders on GeM, CPPP, and state procurement portals — before competitors do.
  • Own the full tender lifecycle: eligibility checks, compliance documentation, EMDs, bid preparation, and online submission.
  • Prepare technical and commercial bids, proposals, RFP responses, and capability statements that win.
  • Build lasting relationships with government departments, PSUs, educational institutions, and channel partners.
  • Generate and qualify new business leads through market research and intelligence.
  • Manage your own pipeline — prospecting through negotiation and closure.
  • Track procurement trends and competitor activity to spot opportunities early.
  • Keep clean, accurate records of tenders and sales activity.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, proposal writing, and documentation.
Must-Haves
  • 1–5 years of experience in government tendering / GeM / CPPP — this is non-negotiable, but it can come from a BD, sales, bidding, or tender-desk role.
  • Hands-on experience preparing tender documentation and submitting bids online.
  • Comfort managing a sales pipeline: prospecting, proposals, negotiation, closure.
  • Solid proposal writing and business communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management ability.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good online research and analytical instincts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)
  • Direct experience with government departments, PSUs, or public-sector clients.
  • Familiarity with vendor registration, digital signatures, or procurement compliance.
  • Prior use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) for research or drafting.
  • Awareness of public-sector procurement policy.
